Our Strategy.
Through the collection of monetary donations and items from our pre-approved list, our team provides comfort items and recovery resources that rehabilitation centers cannot provide due to lack of funding and/or resources.
Cassie's Story...
Cassandra Nicole Smith was an inspiring visual artist as well as a loving mother to her daughter, Reighlyn. Cassie was a fierce and free-spirited soul who loved animals, spending time with her friends and family, and listening to Alanis Morisette.
Like so many, Cassie found herself in the clutches of addiction. Throughout Cassie's journey with addiction, she openly shared her struggles in hopes that others would come forward and seek help.
In 2017, we lost Cassie to an opioid overdose at the age of 26. In her honor, Cassies's Comfort wants to continue her legacy and help others struggling with substance abuse and ultimately, play our part in erasing the stigma of addiction through the support of harm reduction strategies and rehabilitation over prosecution.
